For over a quarter-century, Jeffrey Thomas has served as a leading voice in the world of private clubs, implementing groundbreaking organizational and operational advances to some of the most exclusive properties anywhere in the world. He has served as General Manager at the Audubon Country Club in Naples, The Oglethorpe Club in Savannah, Ga., and The Pete Dye Sporting Club with Greenbrier Resort in West Virginia.
Thomas also is an innovative restaurateur who was chef at the Hyatt Regency Hotels in Denver and Hilton Head, S.C. And as an entrepreneur, Thomas was the owner and executive chef of the 80-seat Panache Restaurant in Coastal Carolina.
Thomas is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and earned a Business Administration degree from the University of Cincinnati

Scott grew up in the great city of Nashville, Tennessee. After working for several restaurant chains and hotels, he decided to make the hospitality business a career. He attended Johnson and Wales University, in Charleston, South Carolina where he graduated with a degree in Culinary Arts in 1999. From Charleston, he moved to Captiva Island for a position at South Seas Resort. From there he has worked in various restaurants and Country Clubs in the area as both an Executive Chef and Food and Beverage Director. He joins Esplanade Golf and Country Club from Herons Glen Golf and Country Club, where he had served as both the Executive Chef and Food and Beverage Director for a total of 7 years.
When he is not working, he enjoys playing golf, aviation and spending time with his wife of 5 years along with their house full of animals.
A true native of Naples, Club Controller Kristy Wolyniec is quite familiar with the amazing growth of the area over the last several decades. Attending nearby Gulf Coast High School and later graduating Florida Gulf Coast University with her Accounting BS degree, Kristy remembers the time when there were no gated communities and everything was either farm land, swamp, or both!
Kristy spent her early career working as Director of Accounting and Front End Operations with Marquesas Management, LLC where she gained not only operations knowledge and accounting experience, but numerous years of experience working with HOA’s, making her a valuable asset to the Pope Properties management team.
When not working on accounts receivables, balancing cash drops, generating financial reports or developing the budget with the corporate offices, Kristy enjoys reading a good book, renovating her home, and spending time with her family. Recently bitten by the golf bug, she is currently taking golf lessons and hopes to start teeing it up with her husband and son when time permits.
Community Association Manager
Brittany Hilts was born in Oberlin, OH and moved to Naples when she was three years old. Growing up in Naples and recently settling down locally with her family, Brittany has noticed a lot of the changes made in SWFL and is very
familiar with the area. She has enjoyed a variety of sports over the years, and most recently has begun to enjoy running. When not processing ARC applications, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children, running, photography, and anything that involves the outdoors.
Brittany began her hotel management career working with the Naples Marriot for 11 years. She has experience in Food and Beverage, Hotel Management, and Property Management. She left the hotel industry in 2013 to find a career in Property Management, working for two property management companies before joining Esplanade of Naples.
Director of Golf
JD grew up outside Philadelphia in Reading, Pennsylvania. Before turning full-time to golf, he played Division I baseball at Penn State University, winning an All-Conference award his sophomore year. He then transferred to West Chester University outside Philadelphia where he graduated with a B.S. in Education in 1994.
His professional career began in 1994 when he began competing in the Philadelphia Section of the PGA while working as an Assistant Professional at the esteemed Lehigh Country Club in Allentown, PA. JD worked his way through the PGA of America’s Professional Golf Management program and was elected to membership in 2001 as a Class-A professional.
JD has been fortunate enough to have won several professional tournaments throughout his career and competed in two PGA Professional National Championships as well as the 2010 Miccosukee Championship on the Web.com Tour. He has finished as high as 3rd in the Player of the Year Points List for the South Florida Section of the PGA, which is the second largest section in the country.
Having worked at a number of prestigious clubs in the Southwest Florida area including The Club at Mediterra and TPC Treviso Bay, customer service has always been of the utmost importance to him. JD’s goal is to provide an exceptional golf experience to any and all who make their way through the gates of Esplanade Golf & Country Club and he is thrilled to be your Director of Golf.

Kaitlyn Aldridge grew up in Merrimack, New Hampshire and moved to Naples when she was 13 years old. As a recent graduate of Florida Gulf Coast University with her Bachelor’s degree in resort hospitality management with a concentration in event management, Kaitlyn joins the team with over 2 years’ experience in planning and executing events.
Before making her way to Esplanade of Naples Kaitlyn followed her passion in event planning by completing multiple internships, which eventually led to her being promoted at Heritage Bay Golf and Country Club as the Activities and Banquet Coordinator. After taking some time to finish her degree, Kaitlyn graduated in August and began working as the Social Activities Coordinator at Glen Eagle Golf and Country Club for the past 6 months until Esplanade of Naples called her name!
Fitness ManagerCiera grew up in Biddeford, Maine where her love for fitness began. She has been involved in sports her whole life, focusing on soccer, basketball, and tennis earning many athletic and sportsmanship awards. Ciera went on to graduate from the University of Southern Maine with a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Exercise Physiology. She had the opportunity to conduct metabolic research on tabata training, energy output, and recovery or EPOC. This drove her passion for helping others become more educated in health and fitness. Ciera has worked with collegiate and high school athletes, as well as Olympians to reach their potential performance in strength and conditioning.
For seven years Ciera was an assistant tennis professional and owned her own racquet stringing business. After numerous internships and recovering from a longstanding back injury she made the decision to move to Florida to continue the year round active lifestyle that she is so passionate about. In her free time she surfs, plays recreational sports, and enjoys traveling.Ciera is excited to provide excellent communication with residents of Esplanade to help them get the most out of their wellness experience

Erika has been engaged in the spa, health and fitness industry for the last 20 years. She has held senior management positions in spas such as the Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa in Washington, DC. and time abroad in England working as the Spa Management aboard on various cruise lines. Erika holds a bachelor degree in Sports and Health Science and in Music; she also holds several certifications as a Master Personal trainer, exercise physiologist and nutrition specialist as well as certifications to train in the spa industry to include massage, aesthetics, acupuncture, medi spa and cosmetology.
Erika has been director over several 5 star spa operations after leaving the cruise industry in the DC metropolitan area to include Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa, medical rejuvenation clinics ReNew You Today and recently as upstart a wellness director in the Florida area. Erika has vast knowledge with multiple products lines from Europe and the United states and wants to make sure the best quality product line is offered with the best educational opportunities for our guest. She believes in ultimate health and wellness and offering the best product lines with the least amount of reactions to ensure our clients skin is optimally as they desire.
Erika’s experience in human behavior and resources will enable her team with ultimate leadership and the utmost ethics ensuring excellent customer service, product knowledge and customer satisfaction.
Erika’s hobbies include cycling, yoga and studying various languages to include French, Italian, and Spanish.

Director of Wellness and Sports Courts
Esplanade Golf and Country ClubJason is currently the Director of Wellness and Sports Courts at The Esplanade Golf and Country Club in Lakewood Ranch as well as the Regional Director for Coaches of Excellence. Jason has also been the Tennis Director at the Hilton Guam Resort and Spa in Guam and Mission Valley Country Club in Venice; Head Tennis Professional at Maui Prince Hotel in Hawaii, Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, and Laurel Oak Country Club in Sarasota; Tennis Professional at the Sports Core in Kohler, Wisconsin, and Lakewood Ranch Country Club. Jason has also coached the girl's tennis teams at Lakewood Ranch High School and Venice High School.
Jason graduated from Lakeland College in Wisconsin in 1996 with a degree in Coaching/Sports Management. There he played #1 singles and #1 doubles for three years and was named team captain in 1993 and 1994 and was all-conference in singles in 1994.
Jason lives in Lakewood Ranch and has two daughters Jordan and Taylor. Jason's hobbies include reading, coaching coaches, running marathons, and spending time with family.
