    Director of Golf

    JD grew up outside Philadelphia in Reading, Pennsylvania. Before turning full-time to golf, he played Division I baseball at Penn State University, winning an All-Conference award his sophomore year. He then transferred to West Chester University outside Philadelphia where he graduated with a B.S. in Education in 1994.


    His professional career began in 1994 when he began competing in the Philadelphia Section of the PGA while working as an Assistant Professional at the esteemed Lehigh Country Club in Allentown, PA. JD worked his way through the PGA of America’s Professional Golf Management program and was elected to membership in 2001 as a Class-A professional.


    JD has been fortunate enough to have won several professional tournaments throughout his career and competed in two PGA Professional National Championships as well as the 2010 Miccosukee Championship on the Web.com Tour. He has finished as high as 3rd in the Player of the Year Points List for the South Florida Section of the PGA, which is the second largest section in the country.


    Having worked at a number of prestigious clubs in the Southwest Florida area including The Club at Mediterra and TPC Treviso Bay, customer service has always been of the utmost importance to him. JD’s goal is to provide an exceptional golf experience to any and all who make their way through the gates of Esplanade Golf & Country Club and he is thrilled to be your Director of Golf & Wellness.

     

  • Jordan BallJordan Ball
    First Assistant Professional

    Jordan is originally from Cleveland Ohio, but relocated to Naples at the age of 17. He graduated from Barron Collier High School in 2008. He then attended Florida Gulf Coast University where he graduated with his B.S. in Professional Golf Management. He also earned his Class A Membership with the PGA. 

    Jordan's professional experience began in college when he worked as the First Assistant Golf Professional at Del Tura Golf and Country Club. It was here that he developed a passion for providing excellence in every aspect of his job. Growing the game of golf and helping people improve at their game became his main focus. In 2011 he accepted a position at Stoneybrook Golf Club in where he founded Stoneybrook Junior Golf, a non profit organization that teaches kids golf in Southwest Florida. In 2015 Jordan was awarded the Youth Instructor of the Year by the Southwest Florida Chapter of the PGA for his efforts in kids golf. Jordan has taught more than 2,000 lessons over the past decade from beginners to professionals.

    Dedicated to delivering excellence, Jordan is committed to providing the highest quality of customer service. His goal is to build lasting relationships and make Esplanade Golf and Country Club feel like home to all members and guest.

    Assistant Golf Professional

    Dylan grew up in Eustis, Florida and started playing golf when he was five years old. In fall of 2012, he enrolled in the PGA Golf Management program at Florida Gulf Coast University to pursue a Bachelor’s degree. Dylan graduated and was elected to PGA of America membership in 2017.

    Dylan started his professional career while in school; working at several different golf clubs in the southwest Florida area. In 2015, he worked as an intern at Countryside Golf & Country Club in Naples before joining the team at Esplanade Naples Golf & Country Club in 2017.
